Dirty Little Deck started with one simple mission: throw a bachelorette party without relying on the same tired games. Instead of settling for something predictable, we made our own.

What began as one party idea became a bold, tarot-inspired alter ego card game designed to get people laughing, talking, and revealing their main-character energy. The result is playful, provocative, and just unhinged enough to turn an ordinary gathering into a night people actually remember.

How the Game Started

The first version of the game was created for a room full of friends who were ready to skip the awkward small talk and get straight to the fun. The cards gave everyone permission to loosen up, laugh at themselves, and embrace the personalities that usually appear after the group chat comes to life.

Those personalities eventually became the characters: the bold, chaotic alter egos we have all been at least once—or have witnessed up close. They overshare, stir the pot, flirt too hard, and somehow always become the center of attention.

After attending approximately 50 million weddings, bachelorette parties, and events where five different friend groups were expected to magically become besties, I realized something: the party doesn’t really start until everyone drops the polite act.

That realization became the seed for Dirty Little Deck.

Years of people-watching, questionable conversations, unforgettable personalities, and thinking, “Oh, I know exactly what type of person you are,” slowly evolved into the characters and energies behind the game.

Then I brought my hilarious, brilliantly creative best friend Jill into the mix—the person willing to entertain my weird ideas, make them even better, and bring the whole beautifully chaotic vision to life—and things escalated quickly.

I’m Texas-born, armed with a master’s degree in biological engineering, and somehow still the social butterfly who ends up talking to everyone in the room. I’m endlessly fascinated by what makes people tick, what makes them laugh, and what finally gets them to drop the small talk and show everyone who they really are.

So yes, technically, a scientist made this game.

If there’s food on the table, cocktails in hand, and everyone laughing a little too hard… I’m probably right where I want to be.

I’m a designer, brand architect, entrepreneur, and someone who’s never been able to leave a good idea alone. I love bringing people together, dreaming up ridiculous ideas that somehow become real businesses, and helping other people bring their own ideas to life. I genuinely believe great ideas get even better when they’re shared, challenged, and built together.

Long before Dirty Little Deck, I spent time working in restaurant kitchens as both a pastry and line cook, and that passion for food never left me. These days, I channel that same creativity into hosting unforgettable gatherings, building memorable brands, and creating experiences that bring people together.

Whether it’s over an incredible meal, a perfectly dirty martini, or a ridiculously fun game night, nothing makes me happier than feeding people, making them laugh, and sending them home with a story they’ll still be talking about next week.

When I’m not obsessing over the next DLD idea, I’m probably hosting friends, testing a new recipe, or convincing my husband to put on another ridiculous wig.
